Imagine this: It's a scorching summer day, and the temperature is skyrocketing. Unfortunately, this scenario has led to tragic outcomes for over 1,051 children left in hot cars since 1990. But don’t worry—Bishop Curry has entered the scene with a solution as cool as his name suggests.

A Tragedy Sparks a Brilliant Idea

The spark for Bishop’s invention came from a heartbreaking local news report about a six-month-old from his neighborhood who died after being left inside a hot car. Determined to prevent such a tragedy from ever happening again, Bishop got to work.

Introducing the Oasis: Not Your Average Car Accessory

Curry’s invention, aptly named “Oasis,” is a small but mighty device designed to keep kids safe and cool. It’s like a superhero cape for car seats and headrests! Here’s how it works: Oasis uses GPS technology to detect if a vehicle has come to a stop and if a child is left in a car seat. If the interior temperature begins to rise, Oasis springs into action.

The Cool Factor

Once the car's interior hits a certain temperature, Oasis activates a fan that starts blowing cold air on the child. But that’s not all—this device has some serious tech smarts. Oasis also uses a built-in antenna and Wi-Fi connection to contact the child’s parents. If the parents don’t respond, Oasis steps it up a notch by sending an alert to local authorities with the child’s GPS location. Talk about a high-tech lifesaver!
